강연제목 : What is statistics?

강연초록 : Statistics is the study that how to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret numerical information from data. Statistics is a discipline which is concerned with 1) designing experiments and other data collection, 2) summarizing information to aid understanding, 3) drawing conclusion from data, and 4) estimating the present or predicting the future. Nowadays, statistics has become an important tool in the work of many fields such as medicine, engineering, psychology, education and so on. In this talk, I introduce various fields of statistics for application and interest things in medical research.
