 아주대학교 개교 50주년을 기념하기 위해 진행하고 있는 글로벌 강좌 시리즈(Global Lecture Series)의 세번째 심포지엄은 4월 13일 연암관 대강당에서 진행되었다.

 2021년 노벨 화학상 수상자인 David MacMillan 교수님을 비대면으로 초청하여 "The development of organocatalysis, and the pathway to a Nobel prize"라는 제목으로 강연을 진행하였으며, 화학, 생물, 소재 전공의 다양한 학생들이 참석하여 새로운 분야를 개척하는 과학자로서의 자세에 대한 깊은 울림을 얻을 수 있었다.

 두번째 세션에서는 University of Cnetral Florida의 손용호 교수가 "Renaissance Engineering with 3D printing"을 주제로 금속 기반의 3D pirinting 기술연구에 대해 강연하였고,

 Indian Institute of Technology Indore의 Vinod Kumar 교수가 "Advances in lightweight

metallic materials for aerospace application and associated challenges"라는 강연을 진행하였다.
